Thursdays will be Thursdays. They sit somewhere in the middle of the relief of a Wednesday and the laziness of a Friday. Where do dancers wander to on these forgotten nights in Madrid?
From now on, they will all meet to redefine Thursday nights at berlinClub. Well transform those Thursdays forgotten between Wednesdays and Fridays with guitar riffs and lipstick, House and Italo, Disco and Electronic, microphones and a circular dance floor.

HUGO LX
Hugo LX is a nomadic DJ and Producer cruising from donwtempo beats to soulful electronic dance music.
He has crafted music for labels such as Balance, MCDE or Mona Musique and also supplied beats for numerous hiphop staples.

Patience is a true virtue, and few know it more than french-born, nomadic music producer Hugo LX. After a whole childhood dedicated to meticulously taping house radio shows, carefully learning beat craft since age eleven, and slowly but surely building a solid and very eclectic record collection, his first career highlights came when, being only 17, he started collaborating with luminaries such as Large Professor or Diamond D crafting jazz and funk infused grooves with a classic trademark SP1200 sound.

Following these very creative time span, that saw the release of 2 EPs, 2 singles and a couple of albums under various monikers, he left Hiphop aside for a moment and relocated in Japan where he produced volumes of music, and cultivated his passion for eastern jazz, electronic and ambiant music, leading to a radical shift in his production style. A former architect, he also developed his sonic aesthetic through the researches he conducted on acoustics.

In the wake of some life changing events, and driven by need of dance floor connexion , he decided to take a 90 degrees turn and came back to his Dance & House music roots, under the guidance of parisian activist Nick V. This moment marked a turnaround and a kind of renaissance, as his electronic and soulful productions flourished on the shop shelved, thanks to numerous releases on labels such as Chicago’s legendary Balance Recordings, Mona Musique and MCDE Recordings, while touring and travelling, and collaborating with staples such DJ Spinna, Karizma, or top shelf hip hip artists such as Oddisee and Elzhi from Slum Village.

On the menu for the 2018 season, three new EPs, a bunch of remixes and an album in the making.
